Halimi holds a Masters of Science (M.Sc) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba, Canada and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng Hons) from the University of Warwick, UK and previously worked in the electrical power engineering industry for more than 15 years. Besides his scuba diving instructor qualifications, he is also a qualified ISO 9001 Quality Management System Auditor and a member of the Malaysian Medical Relief Society (MERCY Malaysia) - a non-profit humanitarian aid organization.

Other than his passion for scuba diving and teaching scuba, Halimi is also a keen underwater photographer and sometimes shoots landscape, nature & weddings. His collection of images can be found at:

Mudzirah Mulim, Manager 

Muzie brings to Ocean Elements her vast experience in the corporate sector, marketing, event management & the Malaysian entertainment industry. She manages our dive shop and organises both local and international dive trips, coral reef conservation programmes and events.

Muzie is currently certified as a PADI Rescue Diver and married to Halimi.

Suhaila Ramli, Scuba Instructor

Ila started diving with Ocean Elements in early 2008 and went on from her Open Water certification back then, all the way to becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor in May 2010. She is married to Mukshin Asmuni, himself also a PADI Pro.

Azhar Mohd Sari, Scuba Instructor

Azhar started his PADI Divemaster training with Halimi in early 2009 and went on to do his Instructor Development Course (IDC) with PADI Course Director Azman Sulaiman at Flora Bay Divers, Perhentian. He successfully passed his Instructor Examinations in May 2010.

Jorge Arenas, Scuba Instructor

Jorge is a native of Madrid, Spain and has been working in Kuala Lumpur for more than five years as a Project Manager for an International IT Consulting company. He was certified a PADI Open Water Diver by Ocean Elements in August 2008 and then steadily continued his diving education with us until his certification as a PADI Divemaster in August 2009 and Open Water Scuba Instructor in September 2009.

Jorge is married to Afiza Halin, who is also one of our divers.

Khairuzley Samad, Scuba Instructor

Khai started diving with Ocean Elements in January 2008 and together with Suhaila and Mukshin, continued his diving education until his Instructor Development Course (IDC) with PADI Course Director Azman Sulaiman in May 2010. Khai took and successfully passed his PADI Instructor Examination in July 2010.

Hairil Mukshin Asmuni, Scuba Instructor

Mukshin holds the rank of a Captain in the Malaysian Armed Forces service and started his journey into the scuba diving world with Ocean Elements through his Open Water Diver certification in January 2008.

He is married to Suhaila who is also a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.

Osman Abdullah, Divemaster

Osman is a Civil Engineer by training and has been involved in the construction industry for the past twenty years. He was certified a PADI Open Water Diver by Ocean Elements in October 2008 together with his wife, Ayu and from the very start, had set his mind on attaining the status of a PADI Pro one day. Osman was certified a PADI Divemaster in April 2010, one-and-a-half year after his entry-level diving certification.
