Open Water Diver - experience it!

Begin your Underwater Adventure...
take the PADI Open Water Diver Course!

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most popular entry-level scuba certification in the world! Why? PADI has designed the Open Water Diver course to make it easy for anybody to learn to dive. If you are in good average health and comfortable in the water, you can be a diver. However, like any other activities, we need you to put some effort into learning it and of course, we need a bit of your time.

  • How Much Does it Cost?
RM950 for the Open Water Diver course, inclusive of an original PADI manual and dive table, a log book, full scuba equipment, professional instructor fee and the PADI certification. In addition, to complete your scuba training, you will need to spend at least two days on the island to do your Open Water dives. Our island trips usually cost between RM600 to RM800 per person, inclusive of accommodation, food, return boat trip to the island and 4 - 6 dives. So, expect to pay around RM1,500 to RM1,700 in total. We are very transparent in how we do our business so we give you all the information up front so that you know what to expect and how much to budget.

  • What Gear do I Need to get Started Today?
We will provide you all the equipment you need to complete the course. Notwithstanding, most of our students buy their own mask, fins and snorkel when they start the course because they can choose fins or mask that fit them better or make them look better underwater. These equipment are relatively cheap too.

  • How Short is the Course?
You’ll be diving in less time than you think. Normally, it takes two (2) days of classes + pool session here in Kuala Lumpur plus two (2) more days on the island. Or you can do the whole course with us on the island in 4 days.

  • I Really, Really Don't Have Time But I Want to Learn to Dive!
Yes, we can help. Complete the theory portion of the Open Water course online via PADI eLearning - click here for more info - (you can then do the theory part at home or whenever/wherever you can find free time; you don't need to visit our dive centre to attend a theory class), then call / email us (tel: +603-209 33380, email: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) so we can arrange with our dive instructor a one-on-one pool session for you, which should take only 4 - 5 hours to complete. Then give us one weekend to arrange your four (4) open water dives to complete the course.
  • Can my Children Learn to Dive too?
Yes! Children 10 years old can sign up for the PADI Junior Open Water Diver course. They will learn the same thing as adults and do the same things underwater. Of course, we will get them equipment that suit their small size and the class is kept very small (no more than two 10-11 year olds in a group of maximum 4 student divers).

  • After Certification, Where Can I Dive & With Whom?
We have diving trips both local and going abroad at least once a month so once you are certified, visit our Dive Trips page (click here ) and see what trips we have planned. Join us on our trips, make new friends, see new places and do new things, underwater.

  • I Would Like to do My Bit for the Environment / Offset my Carbon Footprint
Excellent, we want to adopt you! We organize at least two (2) ocean conservation activities annually under Project AWARE - www.projectaware.org. Please check our Dive Trip page (click here) for these events or go to the Project AWARE website to read more. If the company you work for is planning to organize a "Corporate Social Responsibility" (CSR) program, talk to us. We can co-organize the event.
